Accounting Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice submission, verification and coding
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries for inventory, expenses, and projects
• Assist with monthly and year-end close and account reconciliations
• Track project costs, expenses, and cost allocations
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and audit documentation
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS) and internal controls

Inventory Control Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/accounting systems
• Perform inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and variance analysis
• Track materials, tools, spare parts, and assets
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Manage receiving, issuing, and returns documentation
• Support inventory valuation and COGS reporting

Systems, Compliance & Coordination

• Use ERP and document management systems (QuickBooks, SAP, SharePoint, Procore, etc.)
• Prepare inventory, cost, and document status reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Coordinate with project, finance, procurement, and operations teams
• Support health & safety, quality documentation, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• 2?5 years of relevant experience
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Experience in project-based or inventory-driven environments preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
