Samaritan House Ministries Inc. is seeking a flexible Child Care Assistant to join our Mary?s House Second-Stage Housing Program to support families in transition. This position is 8 hours per week, 4 hour shifts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with the possibility of extra hours as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support for families
- Providing child care during groups
- Maintain a clean work/play environment
- Collaborate with other team members
- Flexible scheduling
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- CCA certification or other experience working with children
- Punctual and reliable with good time management
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Trauma Informed knowledge and awareness
- Child abuse and Criminal Record checks will be required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
