Job Summary

The CNC division is responsible for the production of a variety of parts for industrial applications and internal use. Most of the parts produced by this division are high-volume production parts, but the division is also utilized to produce complex custom parts.

This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality production of CNC parts. This will involve utilizing the most efficient programs, tooling, and setup procedures. An in-depth knowledge of programming and CNC production is required for this position.

 

Responsibilities

-       Design effective machine setups and fixtures.

-       Modify existing programs to improve efficiency and part quality.

-       Ensure all parts meet quality standards.

-       Assist in quoting and production planning

Requirements

Experience ? Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Machining.

Education ? Red Seal Machining Journeyman Certificate.

Skills ? The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:

-       Strong drawing interpretation skills.

-       Strong understanding of machining principles.

-       Ability to design CNC equipment setups.

-       Excellent CAM programming skills. Mastercam skills are highly desirable.

-       Ability to schedule and meet deadlines.

-       Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects.
