I am looking to sell a wagon and 2 mini pony harnesses as well as my 3 mini ponies.
The geldings: Frank is the bay and he came with his buddy Felix the paint two years ago. I knew they were old but previous owner wasn’t sure exactly, maybe early 20’s, she had saved them from the meat market. I just wanted a some companions for the mare I had that was alone. They came with the wagon and harnesses. I only hooked them up once (they were broke to drive) but could see their years of pulling were behind them. I had hopes of maybe getting another team one day but just having our third baby that won’t be anytimesoon and I hate to let the wagon/harnesses sit when it could be used. They have just been on hay for the last year and half as Felix (paint) is fondered and Frank has heaves. Frank still has some of his winter coat so he looks a little more scruffy as we’ve been brushing it out. He is definitely looking like he’s in his 20’s though.
Pixie is the paint mare. She was supposed to be about 7-9 when I got her so would be about 9-11 now. She was extremely fat when I got her and unfortunately fondered as well. She has also just been on hay and they all have been getting trimmed regularly. She was broke to ride although my kids haven’t rode her the oldest is just 4. But they sit on her and she doesn’t move and they can brush her and walk around her fine. Pixie might be able to be rode again but she’s been on just hay for the last 12 months and getting feet done regularly.
They all get their feet trimmed well (they will be getting them done again right away). Sometimes Frank the bay backs up a bit but he’s not that bad someone just has to hold him. They have been dewormed.
They are all pretty quiet, can walk up and pet them. Would be good companions for other horses. The wagon box is 4 ft wide and 8 ft long and 15 ft long with the tongue.
