Seeking: Foor Service Provider for Hobbs Manor to LEASE the commercial kitchen.
Food Service Provider will be responsible for providing a minimum of 3 meals per week.
Providing nutritious Canadian Home-Style cooking is a priority.
Responsibilities:
Food Service Provider shall:
? Be responsible for their own business license, Food safety course and liability insurance.
? Keeping the kitchen/pantry/dining room in accordance with Manitoba Health regulations.
? Preparing the menus for posting on the bulletin board, as well as collection of meal payments.
? Setting tables for each meal and clearing tables upon the completion of each meal.
? Wiping off all tables/chairs used at each meal.
? Providing all food wraps, serviettes & placemats.
? Providing chemical/detergent for the dishwasher.
? Required to communicate with the Manager of Hobbs Manor and the Hobbs Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
? Meal preparation experience.
? Must have a criminal records check and a vulnerable sector check.
? Good command of the English language.
? Physically capable of performing duties.
? Must have an understanding that interacting with seniors requires empathy and patience, being able to provide a friendly face and a listening ear is essential.
? Able to deal diplomatically with the tenants.
Kitchen Information:
? Commercial, stainless-steel kitchen.
? Food Service Provider will have sole use of refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher.
? Full use of pantry.
? Use of dishes and cooking utensils owned by Hobbs Manor (list available upon request).
? Use of dishtowels and table cloths (to be laundered after each use).
? Hobbs Manor is a six storey, 100 suite apartment-style complex, for individuals age 55 and over who are able to live independently.
