What you?ll do:
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Supervisor will perform a variety of responsibilities in the day to day operations, assisting the Grocery Manager and ensuring alignment with our Core Values and Brand.
Key responsibilities include:
? Understanding and following Heritage Co-op?s Safety and Health Program and promoting a Culture of Safety including all Food Safety standards
? Providing exceptional customer service and living by our Brand expectations through our ?You?re at Home Here? motto
? Assisting Grocery Manager with performance management, talent development, engagement, talent acquisition, orientation, and onboarding for all team members
? Responsible for overall safe, effective operations of the Grocery department, which includes but is not limited to scheduling, ordering, Brand standards, etc.
? Collaborate with fellow Team Leaders on displays and store projects
? Production, packaging and merchandising of product
? Order and receive product
? Work with the Grocery Manager on promotions and marketing initiatives
? Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations
? Other projects and assignments as required
Who you are:
- You have exceptional customer service skills
- You have strong attention to detail as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
- You have previous customer service and/or leadership experience
- You have the ability to work effectively with others
- You have excellent leadership skills
- You are available to work flexible hours, which will include days, evenings, and weekends
