About Amey Motorsports

 Amey Motorsports is a premier powersports dealership dedicated to keeping our customers riding. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and expertise for all things powersports. We are currently looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Service Writer/Manager to be the primary point of contact between our customers and our service technicians.

The Role

 As a Service Writer/Manager, you are the face of our service department. You will listen to customer concerns, accurately document their needs, provide cost estimates, and manage the flow of work into the service bay. If you have a passion for the powersports industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience: Greet customers, listen carefully to their vehicle issues, and provide clear, professional communication throughout the repair process.
  • Repair Orders: Create precise and detailed repair orders in our Dealer Management System (Blackpurl).
  • Estimating & Updates: Provide accurate estimates for parts and labor and proactively update customers on the status of their vehicles, including any changes in cost or timeline.
  • Workflow Coordination: Work closely with technicians to schedule services, prioritize urgent repairs, and ensure the service department operates efficiently.
  • Invoicing: Review completed work orders for accuracy, finalize invoices, and process customer payments.
  • Product Knowledge: Advise customers on routine maintenance schedules and recommend necessary services or accessories to improve their riding experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in a frontline customer service role (experience in the powersports or automotive industry is highly preferred).
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate Dealer Management System. Prior experience using Blackpurl is a significant asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude or a solid understanding of powersports vehicles (ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, golf carts, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of organization and the ability to multitask effectively during peak seasonal rushes.

  • Base salary of $40,000-45,000 per year dependent on experience, plus bonus program based on shop performance, and access to demo units
