A great pet for school aged children. Rabbits require 2-3 hours of daily maintenance and attention, a secure enclosure with a place to hide, a continous supply of hay, clean water, and a varied diet.
They are very social, they love to greet you and enjoy being petted, but they don't like to be left alone for long periods. For a happy rabbit, give lots of attention and change their space frequently by adding tunnels, toys, different surfaces and places to hide.
