Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3 or 4
Key Responsibilities:
? Perform inspections and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks, trailers, engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
? Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections
? Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
? Maintain tools and area of work in a clean organized fashion.
? Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
? Journeyperson Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3 or 4
? Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication abilities
? Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing needs and take direction
? Possess a strong work ethic and be consistently punctual
? Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent work orders
? Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
? Must have a valid driver?s license
? Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English
