Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3/4
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks, trailers, engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections
Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
Maintain tools and area of work in a clean organized fashion.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3 or 4
Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication abilities
Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing needs and take direction
Possess a strong work ethic and be consistently punctual
Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent work orders
Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
Must have a valid driver?s license
Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English
