“Astrid” price reduced - would like to see her moved before winter

We bought Astrid two summers ago with hopes in turning her into my daughter’s gymkhana horse. Astrid had come from the trainers with 45 days of training. I picked her up 1.5 weeks before the start of the milk run and took her out on the milk run. She was amazing, handled everything in stride, had zero issues being hauled, tied, put in chaotic arenas, and moved onto the next community. She eats and drinks very well on the road. She trailers very well.
I showed Astrid in western pleasure (a class I have no business in) and she handled it very well. I also showed her in pole bending and barrel racing.
I’ve rode her behind a quad with a dummy cow and she seemed to pick it up (better than I did!)
Astrid was started late. She was started in 2024 as a 12 year old. Before this, she was used as a broodmare (having 4 babies. All 4 of her births were unassisted and zero complcations and she was a great mom to all 4!)
She’s got big hooves, which get trimmed regularly. She has no issues with trimming. She was vaccinated on April 14, 2026 with Prestige 5 + WNV, as well as a rabies vaccine. Since we’ve had her, she has received her yearly vaccines. She also gets dewormed in the fall and spring time. Needling and deworming are no issues to her. She had her teeth floated on July 22, 2025 and had no issues.
Astrid has great ground manners. She’s also is very smart. She needs to be consistently worked, which I don’t have the time for. If she is worked and used daily, and has her mind working, she’s a great horse. But when she has time off, she will buck. I rode her last spring (to my fault - I should have put time in with her and I didn’t), and she did buck me off. I put her in an uncomfortable position - it was my fault. But since then, I have had a really hard time getting back on her. She knows she has my number. She’s not a mean horse - she’s just smart. She needs someone who will work her and keep her mind focused. She would rather be a pasture pony or a mom, than do anything, but I see the potential in her, if she ended up with the correct person for her.
She is at the bottom of the pecking herd. She knows her place in our herd and is very respectful. She’s never tested out the fences.
