Have a horse that needs some wet saddle pads?
I?ve been working feedlot for over 10 years. I currently have 1 opening to put feedlot miles on an outside horse. I ride soft and fair, which creates a willing horse, but I also do not let them get away with much of anything. I have clear expectations that the horses pick up on quickly.
Must have a solid walk, trot, lope. Moving off leg would be a bonus, but not necessary as they get the hang of it quickly opening gates all day long.
Must be shod (with sharp shoes during the winter) as we are on hard and slippery terrain.
Will be used for checking cattle, bringing cattle out of the pens to be treated, sorting, opening gates, some light rope work may occur but I cannot guarantee roping. Lots of walk, trot, stop, turns, lateral work, and yes some top speeds to get up around an animal.
Will be rode 3 days a week. These are long hard days, horse must be healthy and sound with no prior injuries that may flare up during work. Nothing under 3 years old!

24/7 access to alfalfa mix hay.
Will give grain on work days. Currently feeding Tribute products to the working horses.
