CHL News - Sounds like the Brandon Wheat Kings will have new owners soon. The WHL Board has been informed about a potential sale.

No longer a rumour.... confirmed sold to J & G Group of Companies. Thank you to Kelly for all of his tireless contributions to local hockey and the community at large... looking forward to seeing what the new era has in store!

eventually Kelly will sell and the new owner would be J&G. Think many others had the same feeling. Not sure who else in Brandon would of had the the money to buy the team and want to buy the team.

Well Trevor you seem to be in the know of things around Brandon. How much did the Wheat Kings sell for?

And are you certain that there are not others in Brandon that couldn't afford to buy them?? I would think twice about that statement... just saying.

A good interview with Jared J via CJRB (just over 7 minutes)... don't expect micro-managing on the hockey side. Some good comments on what a new perspective on the business side might be able to bring including what sounds like a focus on the in-game experience....
