Why don't the Wheaties hire someone to be Willie that actually has some life and personality? Someone with some character and creativity that could actually provide some entertainment rather than someone who is just going through the motions.
Better yet, the angry farmer that is on the shoulder of the Wheat Kings white jersey would make an excellent mascot! If you had the right people doing it we could have the farmer and Willie at the same time and they could really spice things up during stoppages and get the crowd into the games more..
