Does anybody know how and when the development fee is paid to Wheatkings for developing players. Rumor is that Wheatkings gets paid for each round pick for each year they play in the dub. Also the amount between rounds is a different rate. I was told that if the prospect is traded then the NHL no longer pays the same rate to the team that aquires the talent. As example A guy was telling me that the Wheatkings recieve 50000.00 for each of the first round top ten picks for each year that they continue to play for the Wheatkings but if traded to another team that team only gets 5000.00 per season. He also claimed that the rate goes down after first ten picks and then again at end of first round and so on.
