Any player that has completed 4 years in the CHL can go and play in the ahl as a 20 year old (eg Kieth Aulie) otherwise they would need to make the nhl in order to play at a higher level or be over 20. So Schenn, Glennie etc can not play in the AHL until after next year they however could play for an NHL team next year. But it is doubtful if either will be ready to take the next step for the up coming year. Next year I would expect to see Bestland and Wiebe play as over age. Radeke will play AHL next year as will Robak, Hamonic. Rajala has to complete a year in Finnish miitary before he turns 28 probally will be next year. DeSerres could possibly of played in AHL next year had he not been dropped by Philidalphia. Either Hayes or DeSerres will be back to mentor Liston next year I think it was mentioned in Lubers interview with KM. I doubt that it will be DeSerres as he fully wishes to be a starter and will not take a back up role as mentioned by Jacob in interview after mem cup and being dropped from Phillie was in Calgary Sun a week ago. Schnieder is going to university next year or so he claimed after mem cup. I sat next to Urbom on plane to Toronto last Thursday he is going to hopefully play in AHL next year if not probally in Europe. I asked about coming back as 20 year old he said Brandon was a one year thing. He also was talkative on other subjects but I won't repeat has I have no way to back them up.
