Girls Soccer

When I was a kid, girls did not play soccer, they blayed basket ball, rounders, floor hockey, and so on. Now they play Hockey and soccer and so on. One nine year old in Ontario, I think it is was barred from a Soccer tornament because she wore a Hedjab, a type of head scarf worn by sertain women of a particular ethnic background. The Referree claimed this piece of attire was a danger to her while she was on the soccer field. In my view, a non-contact sport cannot be a danger for a little girl wearing a tight fitting heat scarf, (a hedjab, my description. In many countries where this attire is common all players on both teams wear them with no ijuries sustained, so why is the canadian soccer accociation not backing this little girl and allowing her to wear her head piece?
