Wheat Kings / Tigers

Random thoughts from Wednesday's Wheat Kings/Tigers game at Westman Place..
Not a night for goaltenders on either side. Quite the moment to see the tieing goal scored "shorthanded." Tiger goalie Holfeld really impressed me his first game here this year but has looked very average at best since.
I'd be interested to hear others' thoughts on the McCue kneeing major in the final minute. Depending on who you talk to, I've heard some different opinions.
Quite a bit of line juggling in the second to find a combo that worked against the Tigers. Bartek's ability to finish seemed to have potential to work well with Schenn and Glennie.
Dittmer's definitely showing signs of coming out of his slump. He put together a number of really good shifts Wednesday where he caused a lot of trouble with his speed.
Very encouraging to see Robak pick up some points (three assists). Before tonight he'd had just one point in his last 11 games.
Really like #36 Wacey Hamilton on Medicine Hat as a 17 year old. He's a very good skater and hard worker. Should be a good player in this league.
