Wheat Kings weekend: Kamloops & Kootenay

A lot of positive signs last night in the 5-2 win over Kamloops. Clark-Lowry-Fehr are really starting to develop some chemistry.
It seems like Aulie takes it upon himself to play meaner when some of our tougher defencemen are out. Without Erb long-term, he's going to need to continue to show that kind of leadership.
Is Robak ever good at making himself big. He may not play physical, but it seems opposing forwards are having a lot of trouble passing the puck past him on 2-on-2s, 2-on-1s, etc.
Good to see Schenn get the goal at the end. Maybe its just me, but he seems to be fighting it a bit lately as he adjusts to life through playoff hockey traffic.
Is Hale ever tough to get/keep the puck from when he's determined. That fourth line had some pretty good moments in the game.
Caligiuri had a decent game for the second straight time. It'll be nice to see him continue to develop more consistency to his game.
With Regina's overtime loss last night, they're only four points up on the Wheat Kings with the Wheaties having the two games in hand. It's looking more and more like the division could come down to the home-and-home series at the end of the year.
A big inter-conference game tonight as Kootenay rolls in. We've had their number this year, but they're a good team that shouldn't be taken lightly. Tonight is one of our games in hand against Swift Current.. a chance to put a bit of distance with them in the standings.
