Looking at my options for rec or any beer leagues? Prices?

if money is an obstacle, you can drop in for shinny or sticks and pucks....

There's a rec league that plays mainly in Brandon with the exception of the odd game in Rivers and Souris. Various skill levels on each team, no refs, relaxed but also competitive. Would be your best bet. Avoid wwhl unless you want a higher compete level with mainly younger players.

Would you happen to know who to get ahold of for the rec teams

Age doesn't matter to me, just looking for some fun and exercise. Happen to know any contact info on the other Rec league or teams?

FYI the average of the WWHL last season was 31. So some people may think that is young and some may think that is old.  
 
We do have a few teams looking in Div 3 and 4 for a few players also as someone suggested the Sportsplex has stick and puck some nights it costs around 8 bucks for an hour. The Sportsplex now enforces a helmet and visor or cage rule for all players.

goalie . used to play lots . all my life .  
have not played in 4 years . since i moved to Brandon.  
i looked in to it an cost was just unreal an the times .  
play hockey at 10 at night . then be at work in the morning at 6. an put in a 12 hour shift.  
if there is a rec league in normal times i might dig my stuff back out an play.

I know the Canadian Cancer Society will be having a road hockey tournament on Sept 12th. Not a league thing, obviously, but its a good cause. 6 person max, $200 per team, 3 games guaranteed. Have to sign up by no later than the 8th. You can find it on Facebook under "Stick it to Cancer", or just contact the Cancer Society.  
I also have had friends who have played rec hockey out of town, so depending on how far you want to travel, there are out of town options like shilo. Sorry, I have no idea who to contact about that, or how much it is. Occasionally, people also have teams that play in the hospital gym from time to time,but there is a rental cost.
