    Who goes? I'm assuming it has to be Bukarts. I'm not saying that Winkler will earn a roster spot, I don't feel that Bukarts can take a 20 year old spot. They need Waltz and Erkamps in the lineup, and McGauley is untouchable.  
     
    It would be nice to get at least a draft pick for Bukarts, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is just released.

    Hes a great kid, and has been really great interacting with kids he meets, but i think Bukarts, will go, likely in a package deal with somebody like lisoway, we need to get another solid stay at home Defenseman, to fill the hole that Pilon left.  
     
    I think Bukarts deserves the import spot, but the 20yr old spot is the issue, we cant afford to see any of the other 20 yr olds go.

    Luber's blog says that Winkler has been waived. This is not completely surprising, however, it doesn't solve much. The WK will still have to deal with their 20 year olds next week!

    Haven't seen anything new regarding chance of Kylington but fwiw Calgary has two injuries to defencemen (Brodie, Smid). Interesting to see the end result organizationally once both are back.

    Not sure if people still see Kylington as being a possibility or not, but has played in all four games so far for AHL Stockton.. couple points in his first game:

    Flames have Brodie and Smid both back and talk is that they're trying to trade one of their NHL defencemen. They have sent a dman back to the AHL today, meaning Stockton is carrying 9 FWIW:

    He had a fantastic season last year and followed it up this year with rolling into Washington as tryout and came away with a entry level contract after main camp.  
     
    What on earth are your thoughts on him being a fluke?

    Bukarts had to go as he was an overage and import, as for Kylington he comes he comes but right now the Wheaties got get better on the back end. From what I seen of the highlights from Portland and Seattle, the goaltending was very weak. Hopefully goaltending gets better, get a Dman or two, and possibly another high end forward (Brayden Point). Kelly should try to get these guys sooner rather than later.

    Stockton still has 9 defensemen listed on their roster. Only two of them have played in every game so far... one of those being Kylington.
