I think always putting blame on the goalie isn't the answer. I really think the problem is the team isn't motived, the passes aren't the best, poor choices on clearing and just being flat out just out worked for the puck. Blaming one player on the team for the poor play of a team is stupid. Trading Pavelec wont be the answer.

Hellebuyck is definitely the future, but seems like they're following a similar development track with him to what Anaheim's done with Gibson. Be patient and hold him back as long as possible to give him a chance to develop his game. With how things are going this year with the NHL team it might not be the worst thing in the world.... just look at how much Edmonton's had to rush some of their kids by throwing them into situations that you'd usually have veterans in. Imagine its a fine line between that and getting young players experience at the NHL level.  

it doesn't really matter which goalie is in the net for a game that has been lost, they get thrown under the bus regardless.  
 
In my opinion, it is the responsibility of the entire team when they win or lose. Yeah each game may be different in the sense that a player may be off their game, but to continuously place blame on just one player is not the answer. Maybe the goalie should have stopped that puck, but maybe the defense should have been in play as well and not let the player take the shot on net, and maybe the forwards should have kept it in the other end so they other team didn't have the scoring opportunity.....it could go on and on.  
 
Any goalie is not going to stop every single shot that comes their way, just like every player is not going to score with every shot they take. I think people expect so much from the professional player that they forget they are only human as well. Yes they are paid 'big bucks' but that doesn't mean they are perfect and should always play to perfection. We all have our bad days, some more than others.  
 
I think we should just appreciate the fact we got an NHL team back in Winnipeg. There is also the fact that the Winnipeg Jets haven't won a Stanley Cup previously. Maybe the team will win someday, but I think maybe it is too much to expect it - would be really nice to win it eventually!
