Great job Wheat Kings, and great support Westman! Over 5600 fan last night, and we were loud and proud! Would sure love to see more yellow in the stands when they take on Seattle next week.

Is shael Higson gonna be back in the lineup this year? Can't find any news about him on wheatkings site.

Is a healthy scratch. He will only see action if one of our current d men gets injured or suspended.

Just checked the keystone site and it looks like there's not much left for seats. Even single seats are few and far between! Go wheaties go!!!

There is another blog by Thom Beuning (sp?) I saw that had a brief writeup but nothing much in depth.

Fridays game is on Sportsnet 360 which is the reason game starts at 8pm

Flipped through my playoff ticket package and realized I only have 3 left. Anyone else notice this? Wonder what happens if it goes 7? I'm short a ticket

Great game tonight! Boys got better as the game went on and really cranked it up in the third and OT! Papirney made some great saves and gave them a chance going into the third. Bow was great for Seattle. The boys got too Bow and the Big D of Seattle. They looked rattled by some of Brandons best agitators.  
 
For those that questioned this teams desire, ability and being able to play with the best from the west suggest that you have got your answer. Series is a long way from being done and proved tonight to be a great final! Brandon dug deep after a questionable penalty that lead to a goal at the start of the third. The beat a team that has not seen a loss in a long time .  
 
They got better as the game went on . Great game boys!! Go wheatkings!!

One of the more enjoyable games to watch right from the start. Will be very interesting to see if/how play from the 3rd and OT carries over to game 2 (shots 27-6 Brandon). Seattle did lose their first game vs Everett so they should have every ability to up the ante for game 2. At the same time I think the WKs would say they didn't play to their capability for a full 60 mins either!

Exciting for Kaspick to get rewarded with such a big goal! Papirny was also strong in the Brandon net. Hoping for a great game tonight too!

You will have enough tickets as it is a 2-3-2 format. After tonight's game there are 3 in Seattle than if needed 2 more in brandon

Not a season ticket holder.. So don't have the playoff package. But would the package not have at least 16 possible tickets in it??? Tonight is only game 11

Tonight could be our last chance this season to cheer on the boys! If we win in four or five games or god forbid lose 4 strait (not gonna happen) we won't see another game here!  
 
Personally I think they will be back to wrap it up in 6 games, but you never really know.  
 
Regardless lets get loud and give the boys our support tonight! If they play like they did the last half of game one they should win.

An afterthought - IF the Wheaties win this series, will the City of Brandon recognize them somehow???

Ron didn't like the advertising on the goal posts. Brandon can't be the only team that does that.

They probably only printed 12 tickets because "13" is considered unlucky.

Years ago when the team made it to the Memorial Cup there was a parade downtown!

The city could name some of the pot holes and broken pavement all over the city after the wheatking players and their coach. That way we could remember them long after hockey is over.

I dont think it was the advertising on the net.........they were talking about the mesh and how dirty and old it looked like something from 10 years ago. haha.

like they didn't have anything else to complain, so our nets were it. It was more of a joke it seems than anything.
