I'm thinking nothing is gonna happen since the league hasn't come out by now. Might have dodged a bullet there. But everybody that's calling for his head needs to chill a bit. They make it sound like murder.

They lose, the keystone website says tickets go on sale Saturday morning at 11am

Plane lands tomorrow at McGill Field at 4:50 tomorrow afternoon!

will be a reception for them at the UCT Pavallion at 5pm. It's being said not to meet them at the airport because of the crowded conditions at the airport.

I would've waited outside anyway, but the UCT Pavilion may be warmer :-)

In the third period up one goal the wheat kings go on the power play. Listening to the radio broadcast Luber says that Lew Stouffer could win a gift certificate if they score on the power play. Wheat King fans may know the last name Stouffer as Lew is the cousin of long time Wheat King trainer Rob Stouffer who lost his battle with Cancer. His name has been on every Pink Wheat king jersey since the beginning of the cancer awareness wear pink night . The Wheat King score a huge goal on that power play to help cushion the score to win the championship! Maybe they had a friend in the sky put in a good word with the hockey gods?  
 
Real teams come together after facing adversity. Tough start to the year , injuries , getting thumped on the road, going down two games to zero at home to a lower ranked team. This team faced those situations head on took responsibility for them and learned from those situations. They “believed" that “they” ( not one guy) could win no matter what. That is a team that will remember this season for the rest of their lives!  
 
Congratulations to the players and the organization. It been really fun to watch! Enjoy the moment!  
 
 
The other teams in the Memorial Cup better be ready for the #goldrush!!!

I Have been a fan for 25 years. Was pretty young in 96, and didn't quite understand much back then. So proud of this group of guys that gave there absolute best for their teammates, and fans! Brandon is extremely lucky to have such a great organization that represents the city like the wheat kings!!! CONGRATULATIONS BOY!! Enjoy it then go get the MEMORIAL CUP!

Does anybody know if there are plans for a fan bus to go to red deer?
