That settles that  
Totally different team from the WKs we saw in the same building for games 1/2.  
 
Brandon won 7 of 8 games during the reg season vs the Moose Jaw including 3 in March, but I think lesson learned about taking opponent lightly. Warriors look to be playing good hockey to only need 5 games to beat a quality Raider team. Would be a mistake to think out scoring PA 12-0 in the last 2 games was a fluke!

shut down Point and Hunt and it will be a short series.

We would be unwise to take Moose Jaw lightly. The Point / Hunt line is as good as they come. Sawchenko can definitely steal a game as well. I do like our recent body of work against them, and if we stay focused we should come out on top. Good news with playing friday is the boys really won't have time to be complacent. Oh, and LOVED the atmosphere last night

Has 1 line imo. After the top line that plays 35 mins a game there production drops off big time. Can't wait till Friday. Gowheatiesgo

I've moved out here this spring and been to a number of Warrior games... Sawchenko their goalie has single handedly won them games this year. Shutting down Point and Hunt are definitely key, but if he can see the puck he will stop it.

Sawchenko is good, maybe even steal a game. We will see tonight if Moose Jaw have indeed found an extra gear. If they haven't, this will be a quick series

I know the Wheat Kings played one more game, but.... the Wheat Kings have 4 players with 3 or more goals, Moose Jaw have 3. Wheat Kings have 9 players with 1 or 2 goals, Moose Jaw have 4.  
The Wheat Kings 4th line were quite often up against Edmonton's top line and held their own and scored. The Wheat Kings can take whatever line Moose Jaw want to throw at them.

Heck of a game last night! The pace in the first period was unreal from both teams! Moose Jaw is here to play and game Brandon a great game! I doubt this series is done in four! If both teams play like they did in Game 1, this could be a long series!  
 
Although it was 1-1 after the first period, I'd say Moose Jaw had the advantage in the first! I'm not one to whine about the refs but there were certainly some missed calls early on that could've given Brandon a power play or two! Didn't matter in the end!  
 
I'd say the Wheat Kings dominated the second period, as we only gave up about six shots, but we gave up two goals on those six shots! Tied at 3 after the second!  
 
Brandon went up 4-3 and then scored an empty net goal to finish 5-3!  
 
It's going to be a great series! There was room for about 500 more fans so come out tomorrow and support your home team! This is some of the best hockey I've seen! Go Wheat Kings!

The wheatkings are playing great. With Pats down 2-0 this is likely the last chance this season for a close road trip.  
 
For those who have never been in "enemy territory" it is an absolute blast! I took my dad on a father - son trip to Moose Jaw / Regina in the regular season and it was amazing. The boys love seeing their fans on the road.  
 
There is already a great group of people going to game 4. Come join us, meet some great wheatkings fans and have an amazing time!

The fan bus is a go. Anyone wanting to join can walk on, meet at Victoria Inn parking lot at 2 p.m. cost is $50 / person.

Yes the audio and picture was not very good.The audio from brandon was good but was a few seconds behind streaming,annoying ,,,so i watched with the audio turned off..Dont think l will renew next series unless whl live improves.

Agree streaming and audio was poor from last night. Watched the Edmonton games and they were just fine. Hope it's better tonight.

Definitely a better team top to bottom than that score.  
Cant blame it all on the goalie when the team only scored 1 goal and there were players with -3 and -4 next to their name, but definitely going to need better goaltending as games get tighter. 0.899 save percentage is lowest of any goalie still playing.  
The guys learned last round how quickly a 2-0 lead in a series can be turned around, would expect a good game tonight for the fan bus crew!  
 
Re stream quality issues, I didn't watch the stream myself but consider sending a note to the league. Last round when quality problems came up they took ownership and gave away free streams for a future game.

After 6 wins in a row I was expecting an off game - they been doing that all season - maybe they felt to confident but this certainly should have brought them back to reality ...

Did people really think we were going through the playoffs without a loss??? It's the second round. Teams lose once and awhile.

Regina beat Red Deer 6-3 and Kelowna beat Victoria 3-2. Seems the home teams all had a good night last night.

Is anyone else having issues with the game online? I keep getting buffering message... really getting tired of refreshing. There is long pauses, makes it hard to watch.
