I have bought the subscription to the series Wheatkings and Rebels. I have it on my iPad. I am wondering if anyone knows if I can connect the iPad to my smart TV and what I need to do his.

It acts like a computer so just access your account through the tv and watch it like u would on your computer  

If by any chance you have Apple TV hooked up to the tv you can just click view on Apple TV on the iPad. Then its a wireless transfer to your tv.

You can buy a lightning adapter to HDMI cable and hook the ipad to the TV directly.  
 
Alternatively you can purchase a chromecast, roku, or alternatives and broadcast the feed over wifi to your smart tv.  
 
If the WHL Live app is downloadable for you smart tv you will be able to log in and watch.  
 
Your smart tv might also have an internet brower, which you can log into WHL Live Tv from as others have suggested.  
 
Good luck, this is a very simple problem to solve, as long as you are willing to spend some money.
