Surprised this hasn't been started yet, but what are guys thought on what the Wheaties should do?

It's not such a big secret that we need capable WHL defencemen. We've used a lot of youth back there all season, but luckily have 2 goalies playing very well.  
 
Of course, I'd rather not have to trade good young prospects or current roster players, because next year's team should be good. We stand to lose only the 3 overagers and Armour.  
 
In the end my guess is that Papirny will be traded for a defencemen, and guessing to Seattle.

So for the game that will be made up from the home opener. Papirny was the starting goalie and would basically be credited with a loss if the Bwk lose that game. Also the player who scored for moosejaw was traded to Prince George. Should make some interesting stats. Would have been interesting if paps got traded to m jaw and got the W and the L in the same game

Even if with moose jaw the starting goalie would get the credit, correct? Not a paradox.

Hadn't given that a lot of thought yet, but as a recovering stats nerd I feel the pull to do exactly that!  
 
I do see that Swift Current plays on the same day (Feb 8) as the makeup game.... so entirely possible Papirny gets the decision in two different games in two different provinces on the same day. Future trivia question in the making.  
 
At minimum the game sheet (or sheets) in Brandon would i assume have 3 Wheat King goalies on it, a pretty different looking defence, etc. Problem is the game sheet is only designed to have a standard amount of players on it. That and the game sheet system is predicated on each player having a unique jersey number, so how does that sheet look if a new player on either team happens to dress under the same jersey number as a player that is no longer with the team. I'm sure they have in mind a way to make it all work!
