My kids attend BU on student loans and someone felt they needed one of their bikes more then they do so they cut the lock and stole it. In the summer 2 of their tires were slashed. It is frustrating to see people go in debt to better themselves by going to university and someone take or damage their stuff just cause they feel it is owed to them.

It happens a lot in this city and not many are seen again. Sad that people feel the need to take what isn’t theirs, and sadder yet is the outcome of their choices on the person they stole from... huge inconveniences and money spent. Sorry this happened to your kid

People who have the ability & determination to ride a bike to help their budget should be APPLAUDED & not have their bike stolen! Happened to someone I know & it really put a wrench into their education plans. This person ended up buying a really cheap, beat-up bike just so they had wheels. It's in SUCH bad shape that no one wants to steal it but people shouldn't be reduced to this level of trying to save their possessions!

I had a bike stolen several years ago. It was a garden ornament at that time as it was at least 40 years old with two flat tires. Yet someone walked off with it. What value could it have possibly had to them?

1 month ago, my bike which was locked in the stair wall near my apartment suite was stolen. It was found other and I got it back other then I never got my bike computer back from the police and a pouch for my cell phone.

If you haven't already, register it with the Project 529 then show proof you register it to the Brandon Police and you will get a sticker which you put on your bike.
