Morning all,  
 
I'm continuing with a bit of a spring cleaning on the website this morning. Last week classified searching was improved. Earlier this week functionality was added that gives you the ability to build and browse a list of your favourite ads.  
 
This morning I've turned focus to folks that might use the site for bargain hunting. Anyone that's a regular user of the classifieds may be aware that in the right-hand column of the main classifieds page we've had links to the:  
- Bargain Bin (ads that have been on the site for at least a week and have had their price reduced)  
- and the Freebie Bin (ads whose sellers have marked as being items that are given away for free)  
 
This morning I've added a third section that goes hand-in-hand with the above two... an "Expiring Ads" link that gives access to a list of ads that are due to expire soon (within the next 24 hours) and have not been marked as sold. There are a couple of benefits of this link:  
- if you're a buyer/bargain hunter, the Expiring Ads list can be a great way to find last chance ads that have not sold before they potentially come off of the site. Depending on the item and the seller perhaps there end up being opportunities to wheel and deal on these items.  
- if you're a seller and have posted an ad, chances are you posted it in a category that has your ad expire after 30 days. With how many people there are that regularly check what new ads are posted there's of course a lot of exposure in the first few days after you've posted. If your item hasn't sold after those first few days some might find that their ad gets noticed a little less when its no longer new. This will give a chance at an extra shot of exposure if your item hasn't sold after the 30 days  
 
The Expiring Ads link can be found in the right-hand column of the main classifieds page along with the usual Bargain Bin and Freebie Bin links (below the "Recent/Popular Ads" box). To make access easier I've also now added these three links in the main content area of the main classifieds page where all of the classified categories are listed.
