Anyone having connection problem with their MTS internet? I have no internet since last night on any of my laptops so not sure if it's MTS issues or rather something in my house issues. I am using my small phone screen to post this

MTS says everything is operating normally

This rain seems to be wreaking havoc on their equipment. Sure they say everything is operating normally. Nobody will admit their equipment goes down. I am in the east end and seems since the rain equipment has gone down. I have had service calls where techs call saying my internet should be good as their cabinet boards go out.

unplug your internet, let sit for 20 seconds, hit the re-set button on the back of the box and plug it back in and see if that helps.

yes now that my tv isn't connecting also I figured a good percentage of the issue is my house so I googled searching for solving similar problems and just finished that process of unplug all and replug then reset NOW ALL IS WORKING YEAH DANCING HOORAY...or for now. I loss connection 2 days but yesterday all was fine then lost connection again but so far so good. Fingers crossed.  
Hah would be so great if you could understand those mumbo jumbo wires and cables stuff.

sunday! called? no in the past it used to be a bunch of press this number and this number and this number then if pressed right option you end up on hold for ???? seconds. Go in person in person (shoppers mall) in my experience is you wait you wait you wait then the staff does not know or get told to go to their website and call them (even if you are in MTS store). The 18th street Mts building isn't open to customer there from the sign I saw last in 2017.  
I apologize if I caused anyone to go to the ER for asking or viewing my question....hey no one if forced to go or answer to ebrandon's questions.

ask around first, then you will know if it you or others too. The wait time and confusion in trying to get through to anyone is ridiculous and if you don''t have your account number handy, all their secret little passwords, etc, this was a great option to check it out.

My neighbors have MTS - they are the first people I call.

99% of the time they are not related. Asking if someones Internet is out could be a million things. I think MTS has an outage page as well.

I am having connection problems on the North Hill as well with the internet constantly cutting in and out.  
 
I contacted MTS last night and opened a repair ticket. Today they told me today there aren't any wide spread issues in my area so will have to send a technician over.

As someone mentioned above, there could be an endless amount of possible issues. Some of the issues could be storm related.  
 
Especially if its aerial cables feeding your house, There is connections in the aerial terminals and if they get shaked around enough it could knock a connector loose or snap a wire inside.  
 
It could be that the modem packed it in when it lost connection (for whatever reason) and you need a new modem.  
 
Its likely isolated to you and not an issue with a cabinet. If the cabinet has an issue there are monitors and alarms and techs are dispatched ASAP to look into it.  
 
Call in and they will do the annoying checks with power cycling then dispatch a repair tech if need be.

On MTS, my audio on TV drops out for a second or so about every 3 to 5 minutes. No big deal but it is irritating. Figure it is the same for my internet. Called support did major reset to TV box - deleted all recordings. Did all the other resets but still a problem. If Westman was any better, I would switch.

I had problems with my internet last week, due to my schedule the first time I could be at home was today. Tech gentlemen turned up, told me there was a problem with the wire outside of my home, fixed that, then replaced modem.  
 
Internet working very well.  
 
Many thanks to the MTS tech he did a great job, checked EVERYTHING.
