    I'm just wondering if anyone knows of an app where you can watch sports events without subscribing to the channel? I'm ok with paying for the app but I don't have cable and want to be able to cast sports events from an app to my TV.

    I’ve been looking for a long time, Yet to find anything that doesn’t require a subscription.  
    I find online streams that are compatible with my phone so I can run it off that if I’m away from the computer.

    DAZN does have a subscription and I believe you don’t need to have the cable side of things to run it.

    NHL, NFL, and MLB all have subscriptions you can buy.  
     
    TSN also recently lunched TSN Direct.
