I’m thinking of picking up the 2nd gen AirPods, but I was wanting some personal reviews of them! How are they for sound, bass and sound canceling? Overall how pleased are you with them? Thank you!

Unless you need to have them because they are "Apple Airpods" there are way better ones out there. The airpods do really good on phone calls however. The Sony WF-1000XM3 are likely the best alternative to the pods. I really like the sound on the Jabra Elite 65ts too. The Jaybird Vistas are up there very good. If you are an audiophile the Sennheiser Momentum Trues are best sounding I found but the most pricey.  
 
I guess it comes down to what you want them for. But in my opinion there are way better ones out there than Apple. Best to do some research, try the different one out if you can. See how they sound, how they fit in your ear etc.
