    Non essential item- USB connector

    I know this is non essential but is there a place in Brandon that might be open to buy a USB connector ?

    Do you mean a USB hub, or an extender, or an adapter? Best Buy has limited hours, but are open, and Walmart has some things like that.

    Best Buy has really good safety measures in place. You reserve your item online, they email when it’s ready, and then you pick it up and pay for it at the door.

    is what I want to do I'm not very techy I have a sony cyber shot camera & a desk top computer and I think I need a USB connector to download pics to computer .

    Depending on the connector/cable you're looking for, you may be able to find them at one of the gas stations on the highway (as they are multipurpose use for phone charging)

    Chances are that your camera has a memory card that can be taken out and inserted into the relevant slot in your computer, which will allow you to copy the images onto your computer.

    If you Google the model of your Cyber Shot, you will likely find the details of what kind of cable you will need. Or you can post the model on here and someone can lookup what's needed.

    It's safer to use the cable to transfer files. I've corrupted pictures and movies by reading the card directly.  
     
    Chances are you still have the cable somewhere.
