Does anyone know what computer shops around town deal with printer repair? Good/bad experiences?

In my experience inexpensive printers are not worth repairing and I don’t know if any computer shops would even work on them. If still under warranty you can probably return it to the manufacturer and they would repair or replace but freight might be more than the price of a new printer.

It won’t be under warranty anymore. Not a major office printer. Kind of a home office wide format printer. It does 13x19, but I use it for 11x17’s mostly. It’s a color inkjet. I have another laser black and white I use too, but didn’t know if it would be worth repairing instead of buying new just because it cost a few hundred more being wide format. Needing a color printer now and this one just has some printer head issues or something, I just haven’t dealt with it for a year or two. It’s a HP 7500A wide format. I can’t even find it online to see what a new one costs. Seems like printers go out of style about the same length of time as their ink cartridges last.

by model number. sometimes simples resets and repairs are found there.  
 
there are a few videos on how to troubleshoot it.  
 
type in model on youtube. (Unless you have done this already )
