Computer - Video Input?

Our desk top is showing a Attention Signal which reads: No video input.
Nothing has changed since my husband was on his computer yesterday which was in hibernate and when he moved the mouse...he got the attention signal.
Can't access anything!
I checked all the cords and outlets. Then turned the computer off and on using the switch at the back of the board. Nada.
Any suggestions?
