MTS Wireless- Message on Cell phone Statement...???

Here's what is says.
"Effective January 2010, wireless customers will be charged $0.25 for each text message sent to an email address. All Text messages sent to an email address will now be treated as pay-per-use and will not be included as part of an MTS feature pack or standalone text messaging feature."
