I didnt buy an Iphone like I thought I would, but I found a nice 32G Ipod touch at wallymart. Which is so far great, more space then ill ever need for videos

BUT itunes seems to cause much trouble with it. I plugged it in the first time at my aunts and it loaded all its programing alright from her itunes. BUT when it came to me plugging it in here at home, it synced twice, but somehow the computer corrupted the Ipod software and right away had to repair it (happened twice).
It seems to have crossed that hurdle, but now it will never fully sync my files. I have about 8.7gigs of music.
Its got about half on, but even when I leave it alone to sync it eventually stops after a couple hundred files. Ive rebooted my machine, the Ipod, itunes, to no avail.
Is this a bad version of itunes? A vista thing? Ipod?
