Electronic Books.... Do you like it?

So i am looking into getting an electronic book for my hubby for christmas. So i have started to save my pennies and do some research. well now I can't really find any good opinions on it. So if you have one, what kind do you have? How do you like it? What features do you like and which not so much? Where did you buy it from?
