Looking for people from SOURIS to provide their speed test results, as our service out here has deteriorated and we want to gather information so Westman Communications will address the issue.  
 
To all Westman Wave (not light) Cable Internet customers in the Souris Area  
There is reason to beleive we are not getting what we are paying for! I run a computer shop here and  
after experincing slow download speeds the past 2 months.  
 
I have contacted Westman cable several times and my complaint was escalated to person in management they basically told me that they know there is a problem in Souris and they are working to resolve it but cannot give a date or time frame. The problem I was told they have too many customers and the system can not handle it so everyone is slow there right now.  
 
Basically we are paying for highspeed but are only getting speeds comparable to dialup or light speed  
 
I'am asking you to take the speed test and email me your results along with full name street address and phone number I'am going to collect as many results as possible and send them in a letter. Then we can (collectively) demand that the problem be remedied or fees be waived until the problem is fixed.  
 
So far they have given me a month credit thinking this will suffice but what about the past 2 months we all paid for highspeed and got dialup?  
 
This level of service is not acceptable for what we are paying. I use my Internet for business and to download wintows updates etc.. at 27k is slower than dialup. your speed test numbers for downloads should be between 4 on the low end and 6 or better on the high end. so far test are averaging 1.0  
If we file a compliant as a group they will have to address the issue. Please participate it only takes a minute hopefully we can get this resolved Thanks
