Are there any new and improved highspeed hookups?

I know this is a reocuring question, but what is out there for us out in the country for highspeed,i still have dialup and its way to brutally slow, MTS is not willing to help us so whats left? what is i-netlink all about? any good?what other options, all help would be apreciated. THANKS
