I have decided to take the next step and develop a website to advertise my books ... but I barely even know where to start. I do a lot of computer graphics so I thought maybe I would give it my own personal attempt ... but what else do I need to know and where do I start??? I got this bug when I ordered some items through Vista Print and was offered a free month website ... in the end I think it will be much more expensive than I need to spend in a month so I fully expect to cancel it but was hoping to get some of your thoughts first.  
 
So first of all - any thoughts of a good company/web creator to go with?
