Best way to tell if someone is skeeping off your sat dish?

When it comes to computers, no problem.. but I've never ventured into satellite dishes enough to have any kind of technical knowledge of them.
I suspect one of my neighbours is "borrowing" off of my Expressvu dish. Can someone in the know share how possible this is, and what I should be looking for?
