If you think that a few tracking cookies that can be easily deleated, telling them what you watched on YouTube and what you searched for on google is even close to recording everything you type, say, send and do then theres no point in even discussing it with you.
Tor is an anonymous browser, duck duck go doesn't track your searchs, windows 7 with some of their latest spyware updates removed or not installed with a decent firewall can make you almost entirely private.
Not everybody out there is willing to give up all there information to strangers to keep on there servers located who knows where with who knows who looking threw it.
If people refuse to use it they loose piles of market share. Like the release of win8, they tryed to fix it with 8.1 but the damage was already done. Same as win10, if people refuse to upgrade to it then they will have to do something about it.
