Is anyone else having problems streaming Netflix with their Roku? We've been having intermittent problems the past week or so, it only seems to effect Netflix and none of the other stream channels we have.  
 
We have a Roku 1, and seems like it can't connect to Netflix properly, as in it can't log on at all, and at other times it can get onto Netflix, I can browse and add/remove things from my list, but can't watch/stream.  
 
I paid the Netflix bill, so it's not that. We've been through Roku support, and they had us do some stuff and it seemed to work for about 1/2 hour, and then quit again. We're trying to figure out if the problem is ultimately the box, the software, or Netflix itself.  
 
There was an outage last week with Netflix I know, I think the issues started a couple of days before that.  
 
Anyone else having issues? How did you resolve them?

I think it's Netflix, as we have Chromecast and having issues with Netflix YouTube is streaming fine, but Netflix is working only when it wants.

I don't have a rocky but have had problems with Netflix through the bluray and the smart tv. Problem seems to be on netglix' send. You tube works fine.

Netflix hasn't been working on our Samsung smart tv since Friday. Thought it was just a Samsung issue but sounds like it's a Netflix issue! So frustrating when you don't have cable and only use Netflix!

My Chromecast is having problems with Netflix too so I had to finish using my laptop. Not bad since it's also full HD, just a smaller monitor.

I've got the Roku 1 as well. Thought it was just my internet maybe. I've been unplugging it from the tv, wait a few mins then plug it back in and it works fine...is getting kind of annoying to have to do that every couple days. Hopefully issue gets resolved!

Unplugging our Chromecast and plugging it back in allowed Netflix to start streaming again.

I'm glad I saw this here. Our Netflix is set up through our smart TV, but we do have a Chromecast set up on the TV for mirroring off other devices as well and I've had issues with Netflix toggling over to Chromecast and having to reset all the network settings on the Chromecast and the TV to get Netflix working again and then sometimes I'm losing sound. I'm not having this issue with Netflix on my phone or computer though, just the TV.

Yes, we are having issues with Netflix on our PS3s in particular. It will sometimes not connect to our user profiles, other times it will play the steam then buffer and get stuck at 25%. I will test it on our PS4, Chromecast and PC's to see if the problem is on all devices.

Ok, I just got off the phone with support (1-866-579-7115). During the call I opened up Netflix on the PS3 and an Android device and it streamed perfectly with no issues for the duration of the call. I mentioned that there were quite a few people in the region reporting issues (there is an Ebrandon thread). She said that they WANT to help everyone, but they need to call in when the are having the issue. The error codes reported by the app are also important to note. So I have opened a ticket and am reporting back when the issue presents itself again. One suggestion, make sure you DNS spoof service is set for Canada when you call. The person on the other end of the phone was very polite, very friendly and very sincere. So if you are having an issue, I would recommend you call, assuming you have ruled out your home network or ISP. I will report back if I get any more information.
