Internet problems in Alexander and area?

Is anyone else having internet issues?Regular web pages are fine but any video streaming or netflix is horrible.Speed test shows 1.4 mb download and.50 upload! my router has never given me any trouble so i just wantto know if anyone else is having the same issue. thanks

We have MTS in Alexander and it's horrible. It's slow during the week and on weekends it doesn't work at all. Spoke with Mts and we are on the fastest plan that they offer here. Very frustrating. Paying for a service that doesn't work!

Haven't noticed anything lately. Couple years back we had to get new modem and wiring in the house haven't any real problems since. For the price we pay I wish MTS would bring fibre out here

this past Thursday , MTS internet was down close to 20 hours in the Neepawa and surrounding area

How old are your modems. I live in Alexander and have for 15 some years. Just recently had my modem upgraded by MTS and it resolved all my problems I was having for years. Something you may want to try.

we have net set.works great.2 lap tops at the same time.as for the phones, one is fido and the other is mts.to get the mts phone to work properly, we had to get a cell booster as we were told the cell phones with mts pick up on the Souris tower.

Have friends In Alexander have enquired about iWestman Wave but not available
You must be on the line for Souris area..

They can't even get the mts home phone package offered in Souris area they pay 20$ more for the same package

I believe I am - I have my phone, internet and cable through Westman - and I am so pleased with their service, now the cost is another issue though. I have been considering doing the slim down deal, but not sure how the phone and internet service will be then.

Yeah, i am glad I have the Wave option where I am.
