I want to place a SIM card in my phone to go across the line. These are my questions!!!!!  
I am aware the phone needs to be unlocked.  
I plan to go with roam mobility.  
Now my question is this do I power down the phone or leave it on.  
I want to keep my apple phone because of contacts, maps and other information.  
I will keep my sims that came with the phone and once across the line place it back in my phone and carry on as normal.

Turn your phone off. Swap sim cards. Turn phone back on. On both sides follow the same steps.

Their coverage area that it covers where you're going. I used them once and had service maybe half time.

If you''re going down to Minot, Roam Mobility will NOT work in Minot, it works part way to Minot until about 20 minutes west of Rugby. Roam Mobility relies on T-Mobile''s network for coverage  
 
EDIT: Wow.. it appears that T-Mobile may have turned on a few of their towers in Minot and-east area recently. I checked their coverage map only two weeks ago because I was thinking of using Roam Mobility even though Rogers Roam Like Home is a great deal (Roam has unlimited data though). The coverage map has been updated within the past two weeks so it looks like Minot's tower(s) have been turned on recently
