TV screen not working

My tv screen is black but the sound is working, does anyone know how to fix this or where to take it to see what's wrong with it for a cheap price? Thanks

Try a different HDMI Cable.

To my tv...Took mine to mortech on first street,near kuipers bakery...they will give you a diagnosis for about 40$...if you decide to go agead with the repair,i believe they credit the 40$ to the total bill. Got my smart tv fixed there.

Maybe you did already, but first thing I would try is just unplugging all your cables and connections and plugging them back in.

It could be a bad board inside the TV. Im currently replacing the Y board on my 50" Samsung plasma as it passes sound but no picture and after dignostics i determined it was the Y board and have ordered a new one.

If your not comfortable working on electronics the $40 at the repair shop may be worth it.

I third this, we had a bad HDMI cable and would have to unplug it and plug it back in from time to time. Same problem there would be sound but no picture.
