They both looked like morons to me. The truck looks to have likely initially pulled out and made the car slow down which caused the person driving the car to rage. The car should of never stopped in the road but the truck clearly saw he stopped and didn't need to pass it like he did, they were both in the wrong. Then when the car goes to pass again the trucker clearly pulls to the left trying to box him out, which clearly only made the car driver rage more. Both are guilty and should be charged. There is no excuse for road rage, ever.

Truck drivers pull out in front of on coming traffic ALL THE TIME. They would never make it onto the road if they didn't, given how much room they need to get up to speed, especially if full. The guy lost his mind over nothing and I hope that someone comes forward and ID's him to the RCMP. Is it frustrating when this happens? Yes. I usually mumble something under my breath when it happens to me. Never would I think to pass the driver and then slam the brakes on just as they have hit highway speed though. Complete stupidity.

There’s at least 20 seconds between when the semi turns onto the road and the car passes him, so I feel like the car probably had enough notice to slow down if needed. I hate slowing down for vehicles who probably could have waited for me to go by, but I grumble and then move on with my life. The car stopped in the MIDDLE of the road. That’s insanely dangerous. Scream and yell at your steering wheel like the rest of us, don’t jeopardize your life and someone else’s. As for the semi, I doubt he could have stopped that quickly if he tried. I’m glad no one was killed over something so simple.

Pull out and cut traffic off all the time?!? Well maybe the crappy drivers do but I've had my class 1 for 30+ years and almost 2 million miles and I've never had to intentionally pull out in front of traffic "to get going". Yeah it takes us a little longer to get going and up to speed but still does not mean you cut others off. I haul a hopper bottom b train and even loaded to 63,500 have no problems stopping and proceeding when I'm suppose to, so your excuse is rather lame.  
 
There was no excuse for the driver of the car to act the way he did, even if he got cut off but the truck driver was no saint either.

I'm not a truck driver. I'm not making any excuses for anyone. Good for you if you've never had to pull out with oncoming traffic who would still have to slow down for you. Personally I have done it lots. Farmers, "professional drivers" and what not. No one seems like they can patiently wait on their grid road to allow themselves the space to turn onto the highway and get up to speed. Glad you are one of very few who can wait until there is 5 miles of free road behind you before you pull out. LOL

5 miles of free road huh? Lol wow. Ok bud I won't argue with you, you seem to know how everything works. But hey just want to say thanks for slowing down for us impatient truckers who require 5 miles to turn on to the highway. Without people like you us truckers would never get anywhere!!

It sure doesn’t look like the semi cut off anyone to me. He was driving straight for some time before the car passed. My guess as to why the semi seemed to swerve is he was probably watching the car behind him wondering WTF is he doing now instead of completely watching ahead of him.  
 
Hopefully they can find out who that lunatic was and charge him.

Looks like there was maybe a witness that pulled up to highway. The white truck on the right. Hopefully he will be of some help to catch the idiot!!

Something definitely set him off. I haven''t watched it again and it''s been a few days, but I thought it was because of the "roll back" at the stop sign that caused the problem. Since the video starts so early on, I was lead to believe that the truck driver knew he was behind him at the beginning. Therefore, my first assumption is when the truck came to the stop sign, then rolled back five or so feet when he started to turn right... I thought he may have surprised and pi$$ed off that whack-a-doodle in the silver vehicle. The second possibility was the truck didn't signal for the right turn and the truck almost "took out" the crazy guy when assumed the truck was going straight and tried to go around to turn right at the sign. (Which might explain for such a wide turn he did when he got on the highway, he saw him an still continued with the turn). I think the truck driver already knew or quickly realized there was a car there. Although, it''s stupid to stop on the highway, I just think this guy just wanted to let him know and "tear him a new hole" for almost backing into him or ripping his side off at that intersection. That''s my perception into this incident.  
 
I think he wasn't that threatening, just wanted to "give him $h!+ for it". Nothing more. That's why I believe the video starts before the intersection, because the truck driver knew he was back there and he was still sloppy with the clutch or his turning skills. However, anyone with any driving experience should know to stay back fifteen of so feet and never try to sneak around on right side of a semi.  
 
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The wide turn doesn't mean there was a car coming up beside the truck-the big rigs often turn wide and it is especially noticeable when they come off a more narrow side road. They simply need more room to turn. LOL I have for whatever reason made a wide turn with my pickup truck and had a family member (former truck driver ) jokingly ask me if I lost my semi.  
 
It is my assumption from the video that the car was already on the highway, not behind the big rig on the side road.

I would of hit his car instead taking shoulder he would been caught and would of not had a vehicle make the dude walk 45kmh how bad would it of been lol
