Those that get GST by mail have you received it in mail yet?

I haven't received mine yet.

The ISSUE date (date the CRA will mail them out on) for GST cheques is the 5th day of every 4th month. People with direct deposit should have it. Those who receive a cheque could be waiting a few days. It's the same as the Child Tax and Universal, those who get an actual cheque rarely see them right on the 20th unless they have direct deposit. All that being said, the Canada Revenue Agency is really pushing for people to sign up for direct deposit because they want to phase out government issued cheques.

If you got it two weeks ago must have been something else pretty difficult to receive before they are issued. Thanks all for answering hopefully in the mail tomorrow .

I never got mine.......what is this so called GST cheque that you speak of. I pay lots of gst over the year. I should get some back......Lol. Sigh. I haven't seen a cheque in many years now.

there is a salary limit, not sure what it is.  
 
Also my husband and I both used to get one, but after combining income of the household, neither one of us get one.....adds up to a lot 4 x a year x 2 people.

as I understand it - GST is based on the Income Tax return you file - and when you file your Income Tax you can request it to be deposited directly - so talk to your accountant - get your facts straight - be educated!

 
so you get married and your GST cheque goes bye bye , combined income between spouses cuts you off , sure can see who is single in this discussion
