Fotheringham incident

Does any one know what's going on on Fotheringham in the west end near Riverheights school?!?! It's all blocked off and there Are police cars, fire trucks, and ambulances all near one house
It is currently 10:30 pm on Saturday night (I don't know what day it is)

A SUV was going at a very high rate of speed and hit four cars and than had to have the jaws of life to remove her! Looks horrible ! I have attached some pics !

Wow that looks horrible. Hope the driver survived? Was Anyone in those other vehicles when this happened?

Just had a look at the photos and that's a bad one for sure. Hopefully everyone's okay. Not sure if this is related, but I noticed Stars was called to Brandon not too long ago. Wonder if it's related.

STAR-7 (Winnipeg) has been dispatched for a scene call emergency in the Brandon, MB area.

Fotheringham is a nightmare. The moment people turn onto Fotheringham from the highway there is nothing stopping them all the way down to Rosser. People go flying down this street hourly. This is not the first time vehicles have gotten hit there.

She had to of been going over a 100km easily, for the damage that was caused ! I've seen highway accidents with less damage !

Accident on Forherinfham

Clarifying that it was not an SUV that caused this horrible accident but the can in the middle of the street. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt or killed! however does impact many lives regardless. I will remember that noise forever!!!

Spelling errors. Still shaken by this. Meant to say it was a van! that caused this accident, not the SUV. I know the person who owns the SUV in pics and it was parked.

It's like a race track for some. Maybe they need a four way stop sign at Tracy St. and Sycamore. Like they have a three way stop sign on Maryland between the traffic circle and Crocus Plains School......slows them down! I am sure that will never happen though!

Yikes! Atleast it didn't happen during the school year. I am hoping police will patrol the Rosser Ave. / Fotheringham area more to atleast slow all the detouring traffic down. Its going to be a long couple of months until the construction on Vic. Ave will be done.

It must be harder for a lot of people. I live in the same area. I have been yelled at to slow down on Sycamore. Funny thing is I was doing 50. People in their area want people to go slower such as 40 in their neighborhood. So when the locals drive slower and you get someone who goes the speed limit you think they are doing 100 km/hr which they are not.

Glad that nobody was seriously hurt. Obviously in this case I'd respect the investigative process in determining cause, but I'd wager that just about any stretch of any street is a dangerous one at a time when an alleged drunk driver is on it.

on Sycamore? There are some streets south of Richmond where there isn't sidewalks, I wouldn't want to live up there and have to walk on the streets. if there is a place to walk speed limit should be fine.

on Sycamore? There are some streets south of Richmond where there isn't sidewalks, I wouldn't want to live up there and have to walk on the streets. if there is a place to walk speed limit should be fine. "

there are sidewalks on the one side of Sycamore Dr.
